At a time when environmental protection policies are becoming increasingly strict, powder coating line emission reduction has become the core task of enterprises to comply with production and reduce costs.

1. Source control: Reduce pollutant generation
Choose high-utilization and environmentally friendly powders: Prefer powder coatings with uniform particle size and strong adhesion, and their utilization rate can be increased from the traditional 60%-70% to more than 95%, significantly reducing powder waste and solid waste generation.
Replace low-environmental raw materials: Avoid using additives containing heavy metals and high VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and choose water-based or solvent-free powders to reduce harmful emissions at the source.
2. Process optimization: reduce energy consumption and losses
Upgrade the automatic recycling system: Install secondary or tertiary powder recovery devices to efficiently recover and reuse the powder scattered during the spraying process, reducing dust emissions and raw material loss.
Optimize heating processes: Replace traditional electric heating or fuel heating with waste heat recovery heating, natural gas heating, or use efficient heating methods such as infrared and electromagnetic induction to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
Streamline production processes: Reduce the number of workpiece sprays and drying times through process programming optimization, avoiding energy waste and pollutant accumulation caused by repeated processing.
3. End treatment: ensure that emissions meet standards
Dust control: Install high-efficiency filter cartridge dust collectors at the outlet of the spraying room and recovery system, with a filtration accuracy of less than 0.3μm to ensure that the dust emission concentration meets the requirements.
VOCs treatment: If the production line involves the release of a small amount of VOCs during the powder curing process, activated carbon adsorption devices or catalytic combustion equipment can be installed to increase the VOCs removal rate to more than 90%.
Solid waste treatment: Collect waste powder, waste filter cartridges and other solid waste by classification, and entrust qualified units to dispose of them to avoid secondary pollution caused by random discarding.
